Job summary

Highgate Hotels L.P. Erie property seeks an Assistant General Manager to drive profitability through revenue generation, cost control, guest satisfaction and staff development. You will lead sales efforts, supervise department heads, and ensure adherence to Highgate standards.

Responsibilities include weekly staff training, monthly financial reviews, performance appraisals, and active involvement in the budgeting process while maintaining a guest-focused, compliant operation.

Qualifications

• 5-6 years progressive hotel experience or more.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and training programs.

Responsibilities

• Drive hotel sales efforts with top accounts and client meetings.
• Lead daily operations with department heads and budget oversight.
• Conduct weekly staff meetings and manager training sessions.
• Oversee training, guest service standards, and compliance with SOPs.
• Manage monthly financial reviews and reporting to leadership.
• Support MOD coverage and employee development.
