Extended Stay America is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Memphis to oversee daily hotel operations under the guidance of the GM/MUGM. You will lead hourly staff, ensure safety and security, and uphold ESA service standards while driving revenue and guest satisfaction.

The role involves hands-on supervision, onboarding, training, and maintaining excellent workplace culture. Prior hotel supervisory experience is preferred; a High School diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to supervise and develop a team of 8–15 hourly staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience operating hotel management systems and daily shift reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist GM/MUGM in day-to-day hotel operations and staff management.
• Schedule, train, and supervise hourly staff; promote safe work practices.
• Drive guest satisfaction and associate engagement through leadership and problem-solving.
