Job summary

Northern Hotels Group, LLC, owner of the Hampton Inn St. Ignace Lakefront Mackinac, seeks an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in overseeing daily hotel operations at a limited-service property.

The AGM will lead front desk and housekeeping teams, monitor brand standards, manage staffing and training, and assist with budgeting and guest service recovery, aligning with company policies and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Prior hotel management or supervisory experience preferred; limited-service hotel experience a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, and basic maintenance.
• Basic financial, budgeting, and labor management knowledge.
