Job summary

MCR is seeking an Assistant General Manager for Hampton Inn Toledo/Perrysburg in Rossford, OH. The AGM will supervise daily operations to ensure friendly service, cleanliness, and safety, while training staff on checklists and standards.

Responsibilities

• Daily supervision including guest rooms and public spaces for friendly service and cleanliness.
• Provide one-on-one training to new team members on service and checklist expectations.
• Oversee shift management and ensure guest needs are met with a smile.
• Greet guests at check-in/check-out and supervise peak periods.
• Foster a culture of happy team members and guests.
• Verify daily room inspections and adherence to cleanliness standards.
• Assist with inventory counts as directed by the General Manager.
• Aid onboarding of new hires and support onboarding checklists.
• Support time clock reviews and daily reporting to the MCR system.
• Ensure purchases follow PO process and vendor approvals.
• Process invoices in a timely, accurate manner.
• Oversee quality assurance and compliance with brand standards.
• Ensure safety inspections are current and deficiencies corrected.
• Escalate service or delivery issues as needed.
• Confirm preventative maintenance tasks are performed and checked.
• Manage adherence to work schedules and shift coverage as needed.
