Job summary

Omni Richmond Hotel is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our upscale property in Richmond, VA. This leadership role will supervise all on-site accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and income audit, ensuring accurate financial reporting.

You will partner with the Director of Finance, drive month-end close, reconcile ledgers, and produce timely financial statements, while mentoring staff and maintaining compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of accounting experience, hospitality preferred.
• Finance managerial experience in hospitality preferred.
• AA in Business Administration with accounting/finance focus; BA preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate on-site accounting functions with the Director of Finance.
• Ensure smooth accounts payable process and accurate invoicing.
• Oversee accounts receivable, credit, and collections.
• Complete general ledger and bank reconciliations; assist month-end close.
• Produce accurate financial statements and balance sheet analysis.
• Administer department payroll and Kronos edits.
