JB Duke Hotel seeks a Sales Manager to proactively grow new business and deepen existing accounts while building strong client relationships in the Durham, NC market. The role oversees the sales cycle from inquiry through contracting and post-event follow-up, partnering with Conference Services and hotel operations to ensure seamless events.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 2 years of hotel sales experience or related hospitality sales experience.
• Degree, professional certification, or relevant hospitality/sales training preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Strong prospecting, client relationship-building, and revenue-generation skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally with clients, prospects, and internal teams.

Aufgaben

• Proactively solicit and develop new business within assigned market segments and grow existing relationships.
• Manage the sales process from inquiry to proposal, negotiation, contracting, and follow-up.
• Develop long-term client relationships to generate repeat business and referrals.
• Coordinate with Conference Services, Catering, and hotel operations for smooth event execution.
• Maintain accurate client records, sales activities, and forecasts in CRM systems.
• Provide timely sales reports and forecasts to leadership.
• Represent JB Duke Hotel in assigned markets and travel as needed.
