Qualifications

  • At least one year of restaurant or food and beverage experience; upscale/hotel environment preferred.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; combination with hospitality experience considered.
  • Working knowledge of wine, spirits, and alcoholic beverage service preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to coach, motivate, train, and support team members while maintaining accountability.
  • Hands-on leadership style and willingness to step in wherever needed.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Genuine commitment to exceptional guest service and hospitality.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on leadership and visible floor supervision across restaurant, bar, and in-room dining operations.
  • Ensure guests receive warm, attentive, and efficient service while addressing questions or concerns.
  • Support the Restaurant Manager and F&B leadership with daily operational needs.
  • Coach, train, and develop team members to meet service and performance standards.
  • Foster an engaged and accountable team environment through clear communication and recognition.
  • Assist with scheduling and staffing to support business levels and operational needs.
  • Ensure staff are knowledgeable about menu offerings, standards, and hotel procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance guest experience and increase food and beverage sales.
  • Maintain departmental procedures, service standards, and training materials.
  • Promote a safe, clean, organized, and professional work environment.
  • Support sustainability, recycling, and workplace safety initiatives.

What You'll Do

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide hands-on leadership and visible floor supervision throughout restaurant, bar, and in-room dining operations.
  • Ensure guests receive warm, attentive, and efficient service while quickly addressing questions or service concerns.
  • Support the Restaurant Manager and Food & Beverage leadership team with daily operational needs.
  • Coach, train, and develop team members to consistently meet our service and performance standards.
  • Help create an engaged and accountable team environment through clear communication, feedback, and recognition.
  • Assist with scheduling and staffing to support business levels and operational needs.
  • Ensure team members are knowledgeable about menu offerings, service standards, hotel procedures, and guest expectations.
  • Support efforts to maximize revenue by identifying opportunities to enhance the guest experience and increase food and beverage sales.
  • Assist with maintaining departmental procedures, service standards, and training materials.
  • Promote a safe, clean, organized, and professional work environment.
  • Support hotel sustainability, recycling, and workplace safety initiatives.
  • Serve as a role model by consistently demonstrating professionalism, reliability, teamwork, and genuine hospitality.
Qualifications: What You Bring to the Table
  • At least one year of restaurant or food and beverage experience; experience in an upscale, fine-dining, or hotel environment is preferred.

Physical Requirements

This position is active and requires significant time standing and walking throughout the shift. Team members must also be able to:

  • Occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 30 pounds.
