Firebirds Wood Fired Grill in Alpharetta is hiring a Host to warmly welcome guests, show them to their tables, and help manage reservations with OpenTable. You will be the first and last impression of our restaurant, setting a friendly tone for every guest’s visit.

No restaurant experience is required; we provide extensive training and development, with growth opportunities as you learn the ropes in a supportive hospitality culture.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work on your feet for 8 hours or more a day.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and lift items up to 25 pounds.
• Must have a guest-oriented mindset and positive attitude.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• 18+ age requirements for FOH positions.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly as they arrive and thank them as they leave.
• Open doors and create a friendly, inviting first impression.
• Escort guests to their table and set expectations for their experience.
• Manage reservations and waitlists using OpenTable with accuracy and care.
• Communicate wait times clearly and professionally during peak volume.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand and entryway.
• Support the dining room by clearing and resetting tables (bussing) as needed.
• Partner with the Front of House team to ensure smooth, seamless service.
