Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is hiring a Host to warmly welcome guests, open doors, and guide them to their tables. You will manage reservations with OpenTable, communicate wait times, and help maintain a clean, inviting entryway.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations
• Ability to stand for 8 hours or more
• Ability to bend, kneel, and lift items up to 25 pounds
• Guest-oriented mindset and teamwork
• Attention to cleanliness and safety procedures
• Reliable transportation
• 18+ age requirement for FOH positions

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly as they arrive and thank them as they leave.
• Open doors and create a friendly, inviting first impression.
• Escort guests to their table and set expectations for their experience.
• Manage reservations and waitlists using OpenTable with accuracy and care.
• Communicate wait times clearly and professionally during peak volume.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand and entryway.
• Support the dining room by bussing tables to maintain flow and cleanliness.
• Partner with the Front of House team to ensure smooth, seamless service.
