Responsibilities

• Issues room key and escort instructions to guests when appropriate.
• Transmits and receives messages using telephone, fax, and switchboard.
• Answers inquiries about hotel services, dining, entertainment and directions.
• Keeps records of room availability and guest accounts.
• Computes bill, collects payment and makes change.
• May make reservations for guests.
• Posts charges such as room, food, liquor or telephone by hand or machine.
• Performs other related duties as required.
