Job summary

The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager to lead our dining team, champion hospitality, and drive memorable guest experiences. You will supervise service across lounges and banquets, coach staff, and ensure compliance with safety and training standards.

In this role, you’ll manage payroll, scheduling, and reporting while overseeing inventory and beverage purchasing. A strong focus on guest satisfaction and operational excellence is essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in hospitality management or a related degree with experience.
• Proficient with Windows, spreadsheets, and word processing; strong financial and arithmetic skills.
• Supervisory experience preferred with excellent communication and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to stay composed and objective under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Captain of hospitality, ensuring a welcoming guest experience from lounge to banquet and coaching the team on every shift.
• Uphold grooming, safety, and certifications such as Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid.
• Admin tasks including payroll, scheduling, and reports, tracking staff hours and productivity.
• Oversee food quality, promotional activities, inventory and beverage purchasing.
• Communicate effectively and resolve guest requests or concerns to ensure satisfaction.
• Analyze reports, attend meetings, and contribute to team versatility and positivity.
