Job summary

The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe, part of Evolution Hospitality, is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to help manage daily operations and support the Housekeeping Manager. This role emphasizes guest service, team leadership, and adherence to brand standards in a luxury setting.

Responsibilities include staffing, inspections, budgeting input, and staff training to ensure consistent cleanliness and safety across all guest rooms and public areas.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field; or a 2-year college degree and 2+ years of related experience; or a 4-year degree and at least 1 year of related experience.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Must be proficient in Windows Operating Systems
• Must convey information and ideas clearly.
• Must evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
• Must work well in stressful, high pressure situations.
• Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
• Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
• Must assimilate complex information from disparate sources and adjust to meet needs.
• Must listen effectively to coworkers and guests and resolve concerns.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operation of the Housekeeping Department and assist in maintaining efficient operations in the absence of the Housekeeping Manager.
• Maintain regular attendance and adhere to hotel scheduling requirements.
• Ensure proper appearance, grooming, and brand standards.
• Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and safety regulations.
• Assist with certification requirements such as food handlers, CPR, and first aid.
• Assist in budget preparation and payroll related tasks.
• Inspect rooms and public areas for cleanliness and maintenance needs.
• Assist with training and supervising Housekeeping staff.
• Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues and management.
