Job summary

Encore Boston is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hotel/convention setting, ensuring flawless events and customer satisfaction. You will report to the Operations Manager, Director of Event Technology, and collaborate with hotel staff and vendors.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1 year of CS/hospitality and AV experience preferred, and a valid driver’s license. Training and certifications must be completed within 60 days of start date.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Must meet/validate and complete all training and certifications within 60 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic AV equipment in hospitality settings.
• Meet with guests on site to ensure needs are met and equipment works.
• Maintain positive client relationships through effective communication.
