Job summary

Encore Global seeks an AV Technician to set up and operate small-scale audiovisual systems in a hospitality setting. You will ensure guest satisfaction, handle on-site client meetings, and troubleshoot equipment and software while coordinating with hotel staff and vendors.

Requirements include a high school diploma (associate preferred), 1 year of hospitality or AV experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Training is mandatory within 60 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required. Associate’s degree is preferred.
• Must meet/validate and complete all training and certifications within 60 days.
• Internal applicants must meet/complete all training and certification requirements per Encore’s policy.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may need to be met if applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment.
• Exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external customers.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues in a timely, professional manner.
• Complete system entry and paperwork accurately, and interact with staff and vendors.
• Work with clients to finalize invoices and increase revenue using floor up‑selling techniques.
