Job summary

Encore seeks a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in hotel environments, ensuring guest satisfaction. Reports to Operations leadership and collaborates with event staff.

Responsibilities include precise setup, on-site customer service, troubleshooting, system entry, and coordination with vendors. Requires HS diploma, some AV experience, valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to work flexible hours.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required. Associate’s degree is preferred.
  • External applicants must meet/validate and achieve/complete all training and certifications required for this position within 60 days of start date.
  • Internal applicants must meet/complete all training and certification requirements as determined by Encore’s Global Learning Training Program.
  • 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
  • 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license is required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
  • Additional DOT requirements may need to be met if applicable.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and set up basic audiovisual equipment as scheduled.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and maintain client relationships.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and software issues.
  • Complete system entry, paperwork and invoicing with clients.
