Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality setting. You will work under the Operations Manager or Director, Events Technology to ensure flawless event execution and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a High School Diploma (Associate’s preferred), 1 year of hospitality or audio-visual experience, and a valid driver’s license. Volunteers or contractors may be required to meet certifications within 60 days of start.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down basic audiovisual equipment as listed in the qualifications.
• Meet with guests on site to ensure equipment works and needs are met.
• Explain and troubleshoot equipment and software issues as they arise.
• Complete order entries and related paperwork accurately and on time.
