Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk in a vibrant Miami property. The role handles full-cycle AP, invoicing, and reimbursements, ensuring accurate processing and strong vendor relationships.

You will work with hotel operations to secure timely approvals and maintain financial controls across the property. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in AP, solid organizational skills, and proficiency with Birchstreet, M3, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–2 years of accounts payable or related accounting experience, preferably in a hotel environment.
• Proficient in Birchstreet, M3, and MS Office Suite.
• Demonstrated ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all vouchers and approved invoices for payment, and process company payments in a timely manner.
• Interface with appropriate departments to secure proper payment approvals.
• Prepare accounts payable checks.
• Maintain accounts payable files and records.
• Respond to vendor and employee inquiries regarding invoices, expenses, and check requests, and resolve invoice discrepancies.
