Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide patient-centered primary care in skilled nursing facilities in Kansas City, MO.

This full-time role features flexible scheduling, no on-call duties, and collaboration with physicians and facility staff to deliver high-quality care. The successful candidate will conduct rounds, manage acute and chronic conditions, prescribe medications, and develop evidence-based treatment plans while

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted U.S. Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
• Board Certification for NP: ANCC/AANPCB/PNCB/AACN; PA: NCCPA.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in FM, IM, Geri, PM&R or ED.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily rounds, manage acute and chronic conditions, prescribe medications, and develop treatment plans.
• Six-hour facility shifts; rounds typically begin between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
• No call or overnight shifts.
• Average 15–20 patient visits per day.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
