Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) seeks a part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide patient-centered primary care in skilled nursing facilities across Columbia, Missouri.

The role features flexible scheduling, six-hour rounds, no call or overnight responsibilities, and collaboration with physicians and facility staff to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted U.S. Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
• Board certification for NP: ANCC/AANPCB/PNCB/AACN; PA: NCCPA.
• Board eligible/certified in FM/IM/Geri/PM&R/ED.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily rounds, manage acute and chronic conditions, prescribe medications and develop treatment plans.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
• Deliver patient-centered primary care in skilled nursing facilities.

Position Highlights

• Average 15–20 patient visitsper day
