Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide patient-centered primary care in skilled nursing facilities in Maryville, Missouri.

You will conduct rounds, manage acute and chronic conditions, prescribe medications, and develop treatment plans with a collaborative healthcare team. The role offers a flexible schedule with six-hour shifts, no on-call duties, and opportunities to work with physicians and facility staff

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted U.S. Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
• Board Certification: FM, IM, Geri, PM&R, or ED (depending on role) or NCCPA/ANCC/AANPCB/PNCB/AACN.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily rounds, manage acute and chronic conditions, prescribe medications, and develop treatment plans.
• Provide patient-centered primary care in skilled nursing facilities.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
• Shifts are six hours, rounds typically between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
