Responsibilities

• Answer calls to the hospital switchboard promptly in a professional manner.
• Monitor and respond to hospital alarms according to procedures.
• Respond calmly to emergencies, alarms, and codes; announce codes per policies.
• Transfer to appropriate destination and perform overhead paging as needed.
