Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Ability to communicate professionally with patients, physicians, and staff.
• Experience with PBX and basic office equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answers telephone calls and routine inquiries.
• Makes necessary connections on a PBX and places calls for patients and staff.
• Routes routine and emergency calls.
• Overhead pages emergency codes.
• Pages, locates, and relays messages for physicians and facility personnel.
• Greets every caller in a friendly, professional manner.
• Ensures visitors, vendors, and patients sign in on the required log.
• Directs visitors, vendors, and patients to their destinations.
• Documents and maintains logs for alarms and codes.
• Prepares work orders for Support Services.
• Completes proper documentation for Work Order Systems.
• Performs duties as requested by Administration and/or Director.
• Follows confidentiality policy and procedures.
