Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for the Main Campus. Works under the supervision of the Pharmacy Coordinator or Pharmacist on a full-time night shift (8pm–7am) with weekend work required, handling compounding, medication preparation and inventory tasks.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least one year of pharmacy experience, and specific licenses.

Qualifications

• Education High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience 1 year Of experience in pharmacy or equivalent technician.
• Licenses and Certifications (TSBP) REG PHARMACY TECHNICIAN Upon Hire and BASIC LIFE SUPPORT certification.
• Preferred: PTCB certification (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board).

Responsibilities

• Performs job responsibilities in accordance with organizational and departmental policies, procedures and standards.
• Coordinates daily workflow in assigned area and provides leadership to other technicians.
• Performs IV calculations and prepares IV admixture using proper aseptic technique.
• Delivers medication on time and maintains stock and records.
