Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for the Main Campus. This full-time night shift (7 on, 7 off) requires standing for long periods and may involve IV admixture responsibilities. Prior hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities include preparing medications, managing inventory, and ensuring accurate charges and restocks. Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and teamwork is essential in this fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 1 year of experience in pharmacy or equivalent technician.
• Licenses: (TSBP) Registered Pharmacy Technician upon Hire and Basic Life Support Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Coordinates daily workflow and supports technicians under supervision.
• Performs IV calculations and prepares IV admixtures with aseptic technique.
• Maintains inventory and ensures timely delivery of medications.
• Audits controlled substances and ensures compliance with regulations.
