Baylor Scott & White Health in Texas is seeking a Pharmacy Technician 1 to assist Pharmacists with stocking, labeling, dispensing and delivery of medications while ensuring accuracy and compliance with TSBP regulations.

Under pharmacist supervision, you will manage inventory, support patients and medical staff, handle medication orders, and participate in quality control and billing processes to support safe, efficient pharmacy operations.

Qualifikationen

• Education - HS Diploma/GED equivalent.
• Experience - Less than 1 year.
• Certification/License - TX Board of Pharmacy required or intern license.

Aufgaben

• Performs limited pharmacy services and duties related to stocking, preparation, labeling, dispensing and delivery.
• Assists patients and medical staff with nonjudgmental questions under direct pharmacist supervision.
• Answers incoming calls and directs to appropriate staff for service.
• Maintains inventory and assists with drug purchasing and receipt of medications and supplies.
• Handles pharmacy quality control, records, and billing data; ensures charges are accurate.
• Enters medication orders from doctors' sheets/prescriptions; verifies dosage and formulary alignment.
• Resolves discrepancies and runs reports from the automated dispensing system (ADM).
• Maintains equipment and work area; sterilizes glassware per procedures.
