Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician 2 to support medication distribution and related tasks. The role requires attention to detail and ability to work under pharmacist supervision in a busy hospital setting.

You will assist in purchasing, receiving, compounding, billing, and inventory control, ensuring accurate medication dispensing and patient safety. Training and growth opportunities are provided within our large Texas health system.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in a pharmacy setting.
• Must have TX Board of Pharmacy registration or intern permit.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a specialized area including purchasing, receiving, auditing, compounding, billing, informatics.
• Enter medication orders and ensure correct dosage and formulary compliance.
• Process paperwork to ensure payment and delivery of pharmacy supplies.
• Order supplies daily and coordinate returns for credit.
• Coordinate the Drug Recall Process.
• Assist with IV admixtures under pharmacist supervision.
• Deliver medications to patients and carts to floors.
