Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience: 1 year of experience.
• TX Board of Pharmacy certifications: Registered Pharmacy Intern or Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities

• Maintain a specialized area and assist in purchasing, receiving, auditing, compounding, billing, and informatics.
• Enter medication orders and ensure correct product, dosage, and formulary alignment.
• Process paperwork for payment and delivery of pharmacy supplies; monitor lost charges.
• Order supplies daily and coordinate returns for credit when expired.
• Coordinate the Drug Recall Process.
• Assist with IV admixtures using aseptic technique under supervision.
• Help patients and staff with questions under pharmacist supervision.
• Deliver medications to patients and cart deliveries to floors.
