This role performs stocking, labeling, dispensing and delivery of medications; assists patients and medical staff; handles calls; collaborates on inventory control and billing; maintains records and supports quality control.

Qualifications

• Education requirement listed as H.S. Diploma or GED.
• Experience: Less than 1 year preferred.
• TX Board of Pharmacy licensure required (PHT or intern).

Responsibilities

• Performs limited pharmacy services, stocking, labeling, dispensing and delivery of medications.
• Assist patients and staff with questions under pharmacist supervision.
• Answer calls and direct to appropriate service.
• Monitor inventory and assist with purchasing and receiving medications.
• Maintain pharmacy records and prepare orders for drugs.
• Enter medication orders from doctors' sheets or prescriptions and ensure accuracy.
• Ensure correct billing data and proper dosage; resolve discrepancies in ADM.
• Maintain cleanliness and sterilize equipment per procedures.
