Intermountain Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Patient Services leader in Culinary Services to oversee daily patient meal operations and implement best practices that enhance patient experience.

The role partners with nursing to ensure therapeutic diets are followed, trains caregivers, maintains food safety and regulatory standards, and leads cost-effective, high-quality service while fostering a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Service, Dietetics, Nutrition or Management required.
• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration within 6 months of hire.
• Food Handler Permit or ServSafe certification is required by first day of work (in Utah/Idaho).
• ServSafe certification obtained within 90 days of hire if not current.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse team.
• Demonstrated highly effective verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet, email, scheduling apps, and tracking systems.

Responsabilités

• Manages daily operations of patient meal services.
• Partners with nursing to meet patients’ needs and ensure guidelines are followed.
• Leads patient meal areas and trains in therapeutic diets.
• Implements clinical best practices to deliver care and service at appropriate cost.
• Provides value-based leadership to build high-functioning teams.
• Manages HR functions including hiring, training, mentoring, evaluation, discipline, and termination.
• Ensures food safety standards and regulatory guidelines are met.
• Monitors quality and patient satisfaction scores; collaborates on improvement plans.
• Communicates nutrition expertise with healthcare providers.
• Works with clinical team on patient diet orders and concerns.
