Qualifications

• Associate’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team of Patient Flow Coordinators and Transporters in a hospital setting.
• Applies patient transport concepts, infection control, and body mechanics.
• Develops dispatcher logic and supervises dispatcher activity.
• Coordinates transportation services with other departments and negotiates service agreements.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies (e.g., OSHA, JCAHO, CDC).
• Trains and develops staff at multiple levels including dispatchers and drivers.
• Supports budget management and helps meet financial objectives.
