Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, seeks a Patient Flow Manager to lead a team of Patient Flow Coordinators and Transporters within a hospital setting.

You will supervise dispatcher logic and transporter activities, coordinate services with other departments, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards. The role also involves training staff, supporting budget goals, and taking on additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience managing in a hospital environment or patient transportation operations.
• Ability to interpret statistical data and identify trends impacting operations.
• Comfort with Windows operating systems and basic software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Patient Flow Coordinators and Transporters in a hospital setting.
• Develop and oversee dispatcher logic and transporter activities; monitor and supervise dispatchers.
• Coordinate Patient Transportation activities with other departments and create service agreements as needed.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., JCAHO, OSHA, CDC).
• Orient and train staff across roles including dispatchers, transporters, couriers, and drivers.
• Assist the unit director in achieving financial objectives and managing departmental expenses.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
