Job summary

Crothall Healthcare seeks a Patient Flow Manager to lead a team of Patient Flow Coordinators and Transporters in a hospital setting. You will oversee dispatcher logic, coordinate activities across departments, and ensure service quality and patient safety.

The role requires hospital operations experience, budgeting awareness, and the ability to train staff while maintaining regulatory compliance. A strong focus on efficiency and stakeholder collaboration is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Management experience in hospital environment or patient transportation.
• Ability to analyze statistics and identify trends affecting operations.
• Proficient with Windows OS and basic computer troubleshooting.
• Associate’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Patient Flow Coordinators and Transporters.
• Apply knowledge of patient transport concepts, infection control, and body mechanics.
• Coordinate Patient Transportation activities with other departments and develop service agreements as needed.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, JCAHO, OSHA, and CDC regulations.
• Train and develop dispatchers, transporters, drivers, and other staff.
• Support unit director in achieving financial objectives and managing budget.
