Mount Sinai Morningside is seeking a friendly Greeter for the Main Lobby Area. This full-time role covers night shifts with weekend coverage, welcoming patients and visitors and guiding them through initial check-in procedures.

You will assist with wayfinding, escort duties, and coordinating with security and staff to ensure smooth lobby operations. The position emphasizes courteous phone handling, upholding visitor policies, and providing information about hospital amenities.

Competenze

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Six months of healthcare-related experience preferred to learn policies.

Mansioni

• Greets patients and visitors upon arrival at the hospital entrance, providing a welcoming first impression.
• Completes the standard check-in procedure for patients and visitors.
• Assists in wayfinding and provides maps to patients and visitors.
• Escorts patients and visitors to necessary areas as needed.
• Answers telephone promptly and transfers to other departments when appropriate.
• Maintains communication with staff and notifies destination staff when patients arrive.
