Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a Greeter for the Main Lobby to welcome patients and visitors, assist with check-in, and guide them to their destinations. You will coordinate with security and clinical teams, uphold visitor policies, and ensure a positive arrival experience in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred healthcare exposure. This full-time night shift involves collaboration across departments to support smooth

Competenze

• Work requires a high school level of knowledge (graduate or equivalent) in order to prepare reports and keep records.
• Six months of healthcare related experience to become familiar with institutional policies and procedures preferred.

Mansioni

• Greets patients and visitors at hospital entrance and creates a welcoming first impression.
• Completes standard check-in procedure for patients and visitors.
• Assists in wayfinding and provides maps.
• Escorts patients and visitors to destinations as needed.
• Answers telephone promptly and transfers calls.
• Maintains communication with unit staff and notifies destination staff of patient arrival.
• Communicates and upholds visitor policy.
• Ensures safety protocols (e.g., badges, masks) when required.
• Provides information about hospital amenities and guest services.
• Escalates issues to Manager or Supervisor.
• Receives and maintains inventory for the area.
• Supports lobby appearance and individual work areas.
• Participates in environmental management.
• Promotes a customer service environment for the area.
• Coordinates with security team and medical floors.
• Verifies appointment locations and dates in EPIC; confirms visitors’ locations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
