Job summary

Shionogi Inc. is seeking a KAM to establish formulary access for an IV antibiotic in major U.S. hospitals. You will educate ID physicians, pharmacists and microbiology staff on clinical benefits and navigate formulary processes to secure adoption.

The role requires deep infectious disease knowledge, strong data presentation skills and the ability to travel ~80% of the year to top institutions. A BS/BA degree and hospital experience are essential.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree required.
• Demonstrated hospital or health system experience with anti-infective or IV products preferred.
• Strong ability to communicate clinical data to diverse stakeholders.
• Must reside within assigned territory and be able to travel up to ~80% of the year.

Responsibilities

• Establish clinical understanding and demand within ID physician, pharmacist and microbiology community for target accounts.
• Promote product in the geographical area by navigating formulary approval processes and educating customers.
• Engage with Pharmacy Directors, ID Physicians, Pharmacists and Microbiologists to expand institutional product access.
• Deliver field education through meetings, programs and presentations, driving formulary adoption within territory.
