Qualifications

• BS/BA degree required.
• Hospital-based pharmaceutical experience is required.
• Demonstrated experience in hospital or health system environments with anti-infective, critical care or intravenous experience is strongly preferred.
• Must complete training and certify in product knowledge within a reasonable time.
• Strong understanding of formulary process and reimbursement policies.

Responsibilities

• Establish clinical understanding and demand within ID physician, pharmacist and microbiology community for target accounts.
• Promote product by navigating institutional formulary approval process and educate customers on proper use.
• Understand and leverage the access landscape with Pharmacy Directors, ID Pharmacists, ID Physicians, Microbiologists, etc.
• Educate physicians and stakeholders through meetings and programs.
• Maintain relationships with customer at multiple levels.
