Job summary

Shionogi Inc. is seeking an experienced KAM to establish formulary access and drive demand for its anti-infective product in a designated U.S. hospital/health system territory.

You will educate ID physicians, pharmacists and microbiology staff on clinical benefits, build relationships with key decision makers, and navigate formulary and reimbursement processes to achieve adoption. This role requires extensive field activity and travel.

Qualifications

• Hospital-based pharmaceutical experience required.
• Strong understanding of formulary processes and reimbursement policies.
• Ability to navigate hospital systems to access key decision makers.
• Proven ability to communicate clinical data to ID physicians and pharmacists.

Responsibilities

• Establish clinical understanding and demand within ID physicians, pharmacists, and microbiology community for target accounts.
• Promote product by navigating institutional formulary approval processes and educating customers on proper use.
• Engage with Pharmacy Directors, ID Pharmacists, ID Physicians, and microbiologists to expand institutional access.
• Educate physicians and stakeholders through meetings, programs, and other appropriate means.
• Develop and execute territory plans, optimize routing, and maximize field resources.
