Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Kingsport, LLC is seeking a part-time Receptionist to be the welcoming face at the front desk in our California location. You will manage the switchboard, greet visitors, and perform vital clerical tasks to support hospital operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and comfort with data entry, 10-key, and multi-line phone systems. Flexible shifts (weekdays, evenings, weekends) are available to fit patient needs.

Qualifications

• Must be the first point of contact with visitors and callers.
• Experience with switchboard and front-desk operations preferred.
• Proficient data entry and basic clerical tasks.
• Attention to detail and ability to coordinate information.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and route to appropriate area.
• Greet visitors, sign-in, and issue badges.
• Enter deposits, charges, and adjustments as directed.
• Run and distribute census reports daily.
• Assist with admits, discharges, and physician changes data.
• Scan correspondence and miscellaneous items.
• Check therapy charges and attach census to therapist batches.
