Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation in Pittsburgh seeks a friendly Receptionist to be the first point of contact, operating the switchboard, greeting visitors, and handling front desk duties to ensure a welcoming, organized environment.

You will perform clerical support across departments, manage deposits and census-like tasks, and coordinate with teams to keep communications smooth while supporting patient care in a national inpatient rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Working knowledge of switchboard equipment preferred.
• Ability to use computer systems and data entry is preferred.
• Knowledge of 10-key data entry method preferred.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to coordinate, analyze, and decide.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming calls and route to appropriate area or individual.
• Greet all visitors; assist them in signing in and wearing badge.
• Enter and scan deposits, charges, and adjustments as directed.
• Run and distribute census reports each morning and at end of day.
• Assist in the entry of information related to admits, discharges, and physician changes.
• Scan all correspondence and any miscellaneous items.
• Check all therapy charges and attach census to back of each therapist's batch.
