Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and telephone etiquette essential; ability to speak clearly and audibly with good voice quality.
• Bilingual abilities preferred to assist diverse patient population.

Responsabilidades

• Channels all incoming calls and connects patients, physicians, and management with long distance lines.
• Responds to emergency calls following protocols and notifies appropriate departments.
• Operates hospital information system and relay equipment for hearing impaired; uses pagers and radios as needed.
• Monitors CCTV security cameras and reports unusual activity to security; documents incidents and coordinates with law enforcement when necessary.
• Maintains shift lists, posts reminders, and ensures accurate patient and staff contact information.
