Responsibilities

• Operate Amcom PC operator workstation to receive, direct, and place calls.
• Initiate page calls on computer systems, radio long range, and aural paging systems.
• Provide quality telephone operator coverage for hospital communications.
• Prepare toll and message unit tickets for department calls.
• Respond to emergency calls in accordance with hospital policies.
• Assist with information from Doctors Answering Service.
• Perform duties for medical and surgical emergencies per policies.
