Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Telecommunications Operator to support hospital communications, including telephone, radio, paging, and public address systems. The role requires coordinating on-call teams and on-site personnel, and handling emergency announcements per the Emergency Preparedness Manual.

You will monitor alarms, manage language interpretation requests, and document all shift activities and responses.

Formación

• High school diploma required.
• Experience in telecommunications and medical terminology preferred.
• Hospital or medical office experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Responds, prioritizes and navigates all internal and external calls promptly and courteously.
• Coordinate language and sign language interpretation requests.
• Monitor paging system, two-way radio, and portable phones; document on-call activity.
• Notify and coordinate On Call Teams and document call outcomes.
• Assist with hospital directory updates and supply ordering as needed.
• Monitor alarms and emergency notification systems and document responses.
