Job summary

Gentiva is seeking a Hospice Care Consultant to serve as a strategic sales representative who champions our mission while developing strong, lasting relationships with referral partners in the healthcare community.

Educate providers about hospice options, identify referral opportunities across hospitals, home health agencies, SNFs, clinics, and physician offices, and plan marketing initiatives to grow referrals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
• Minimum 2 years in healthcare sales, business development, or referral marketing
• Strong relationships with physicians, hospitals, SNFs, or home health professionals
• Experience in hospice or home health is a plus
• Excellent communication, presentation, and time-management skills
• Proficiency with CRM and MS Office tools

Responsibilities

• Educate, inform, and inspire confidence in services to ensure proper patient referrals
• Identify new referral opportunities by calling on hospitals, home health agencies, SNFs, clinics, and physician offices
• Engage in conversations with healthcare professionals about patient needs and hospice options
• Plan and execute strategic marketing initiatives to increase awareness and drive referral growth
• Represent the organization at community events, professional associations, and educational in-services
• Serve as a resource for patients and families, promoting early referrals
