Job summary

Gentiva is seeking a Hospice Care Consultant to act as a strategic sales representative, building lasting relationships with referral partners in the healthcare community.

You will educate providers about hospice options, identify new referral opportunities across hospitals and clinics, and lead marketing initiatives to grow referrals. This role emphasizes patient-centered service and cross-functional collaboration within a comprehensive rewards package.

Qualifications

• H Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business/marketing/communication.
• H Minimum 2 years in healthcare sales, business development or referral marketing.
• H Strong existing relationships with physicians, hospitals, SNFs or home health professionals.
• H Experience in hospice, palliative care, or home health is a plus.
• H Excellent communication, presentation and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Educate, inform, and inspire confidence in hospice services to ensure correct referrals.
• Identify new referral opportunities by calling on hospitals, home health agencies, SNFs, assisted living, clinics, and physician offices.
• Engage in meaningful conversations with healthcare professionals about patient needs and hospice options.
• Plan and execute strategic marketing initiatives to increase awareness and drive referrals.
• Represent Gentiva at community events and professional associations to promote services.
• Serve as a resource and advocate for patients and families about hospice options.
