Job summary

Gentiva is seeking a Hospice Care Consultant to educate referral partners and grow patient admissions. You will build relationships with hospitals, home health agencies, SNFs, clinics, and physician offices, shaping strategies to increase referrals and awareness of hospice options.

You are a results-driven marketer with healthcare experience, capable of working independently and with clinical teams. A bachelor's degree and strong communication, CRM, and Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 2+ years in healthcare sales, business development, or referral marketing.
• Existing relationships with physicians, hospitals, SNFs or home health pros.
• Hospice, palliative care, or home health experience a plus.
• Strong communication, presentation, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM platforms.
• Sensitive to needs of terminally ill patients and families.
• Proven track record of meeting admissions and census targets.

Responsibilities

• Educate, inform, and inspire confidence in our services to drive appropriate referrals.
• Identify new referral opportunities by calling on hospitals, SNFs, clinics, and physician offices.
• Engage in meaningful conversations with healthcare professionals about patient needs.
• Plan and execute strategic marketing initiatives to increase referrals.
• Represent Gentiva at community events and professional associations.
• Serve as a resource for patients and families, explaining hospice options and early referrals.
