Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice in Austin, TX is seeking a results-oriented business development professional to expand referral networks and partnerships with physicians, hospitals, and health systems. You will educate referral sources on Enhabit services and program requirements, helping navigate post-acute care transitions to improve patient outcomes.

Ideal candidates will have a healthcare business development background, 2+ years in the field, and knowledge of Medicare home health

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in healthcare administration, marketing, or related field, or equivalent healthcare degree.
• Highly preferred graduate of nursing, therapy, or social work.
• At least two years of healthcare business development, community relations, marketing, or sales experience.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws governing Medicare home health and hospice operations.
• Valid state driver’s license and automobile liability insurance.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Clinical license if applicable; home health/hospice experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic referral systems and Homecare Homebase (HCHB) preferred.
• Established relationships with physicians, hospitals or senior living communities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary relationship manager between Enhabit and referral sources including physicians, hospitals, health systems, inpatient facilities, senior living communities and other referral sources.
• Educate referral sources about Enhabit services and program requirements to drive referrals and awareness.
• Support post-acute care transitions to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Promote high-quality care and strong patient/referral source relationships.
