Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice seeks a dedicated business development professional to manage relationships with physicians, hospitals, and health systems. You will educate referral sources about Enhabit services and programs to drive growth and smooth post-acute transitions.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in healthcare business development, strong communication skills, and knowledge of Medicare home health/hospice guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; clinical path is a plus.
• Graduate of nursing, therapy or social work preferred.
• At least 2 years in healthcare business development, community relations, marketing, or sales.
• Knowledge of Medicare home health and hospice laws.
• Valid state driver's license and auto liability insurance.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Clinical license required if performing clinical duties.
• Experience with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) preferred.
• Established relationships with physicians, hospitals or senior communities desirable.
• Reliable transportation and good weather driving ability.
• Fluent English in oral and written form; good listening.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills; ability to work onsite.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary relationship manager with referral sources including physicians, hospitals and systems.
• Support referral growth by educating about services and program requirements.
• Assist patients, families, and providers to navigate post-acute care transitions.
• Aim to improve patient outcomes, care transitions, and referral/source satisfaction.
