Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice seeks a dynamic Business Development professional to manage referral relationships with physicians, hospitals, and senior living partners. You will educate sources on Enhabit services and support post-acute care transitions to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.

The role requires a healthcare degree or equivalent, 2+ years in healthcare business development, and strong communication. In-office work is essential to collaborate with teams and drive growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, marketing, or related field or graduate of an approved school of nursing, therapy or social work.
• Minimum two years of experience in healthcare business development, community relations, marketing, or sales.
• Experience with federal, state, and local laws and regulatory guidelines governing Medicare home health and hospice operations.
• Valid state driver license and automobile liability insurance.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Clinical license if applicable.
• Preferred: experience in home health, hospice, post-acute care, or related services.
• Preferred: established relationships with physicians, hospitals or senior living communities and other referral sources.
• Must have dependable transportation and be able to drive in all weather conditions.
• Fluency in English and active listening.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary relationship manager between the company and referral sources including physicians, hospitals, senior living communities, and other healthcare organizations.
• Support referral growth by educating sources about Enhabit services and program requirements.
• Navigate post-acute care transitions to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
