Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Hospice Physician Account Executive to grow admissions by building and expanding a Book of Business across physician practices. You will prospect, develop relationships with physicians, NPs, PAs, and staff, and drive referrals to ensure rapid admission of eligible patients.

The role emphasizes hunter sales, data-driven opportunity identification, and high-touch customer care to advance Compassus hospice services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business preferred.
• 5+ years outside sales experience in healthcare or related fields.
• Proven hunter track record meeting/exceeding sales goals.
• Strong customer relationship management skills.
• Existing relationships with physician practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Grow hospice admissions by opening new physician accounts and expanding existing ones.
• Identify opportunities using market and referral data analysis.
• Prospect daily via calls, visits, and meetings to reach decision makers.
• Secure referrals and ensure rapid admission of eligible patients.
• Meet weekly performance goals including activations and referrals.
• Maintain relationships with physicians, NPs, PAs, and staff.
• Coordinate with Hospice Care Consultants for seamless referrals.
• Present Compassus value at medical conferences.
