Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Hospice Physician Account Executive to grow admissions within physician practices by prospecting, opening new accounts, and deepening relationships with physicians and office staff. You will own the process from outreach to conversion, with schedule flexibility to support patients and referral sources.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of outside sales experience, healthcare background preferred, and strong CRM skills to manage pipeline and deliver results.

Qualifications

• Five (5) plus years of outside sales experience, preferably in healthcare sales.
• Proven hunter track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals.
• Excellent customer relationship management skills that drive growth.
• Ability to learn hospice criteria and present a compelling value proposition.
• Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and maintaining pipeline data.

Responsibilities

• Drive significant growth within an assigned book of physician practices by opening new accounts and expanding existing ones.
• Prospect daily through cold calls, visits, meetings, and events to gain access to key decision makers.
• Secure referrals from physicians and office staff and coordinate with operations for rapid patient admissions.
• Meet or exceed weekly performance goals including new account activations and referral conversions.
• Build trusted relationships with physicians, NPs, PAs, and practice managers; gather feedback for service improvements.
